The author in me evolved over time, it was not sought. The perfectionist in me didn’t want the writer to exist, yet it called me as thoughts and ideas kept begging to escape my mind and jump onto documents. I finally humbled myself to the journey and alas, a book (or two) was born. Like any mother, I am proud of my work, but more importantly I hope that it will inspire or help someone along their journey in life.



Weekly, I get to spend time with the most courageous and knowledge-hungry women I know. Teaching the women empowered class has been life changing for me. Helping women realize that they are worth defending, giving them the physical tools to do it and most importantly, building their confidence along the way is enough to make you jump out of bed.
